Hi, I'm Jay and I’m a filmmaker, I specialise in cinematography & editing.
I earned my first film qualification in 2016, when I graduated from West Thames College, with a Triple Distinction in Level 3 Creative Media Production.
I graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2019, with a 2:1 in BA Honours Film Production.
During my studies, I focused on working to acquire my own filmmaking equipment. I have since used this equipment to expand my portfolio, through volunteering & working on paid filmmaking jobs.
In September 2023, I graduated from Kingston University with a Merit in MA Filmmaking.
I have since worked in a Youth & Community Centre as a Digital Youth Engagement Intern, and I am currently in a Media Technician role at a 6th form College.
